Former NASCAR driver and MAGA supporter Danica Patrick has ripped into the young New Yorkers who voted in democatric socialist Zohran Mamdani as mayor this week.

The 34-year-old Mamdani was elected mayor after powering to victory in the polls with 50.4 percent support, defeating former Governor Andrew Cuomo at 41.6 percent and Republican Curtis Sliwa at 7.1 percent.

Patrick, who first took an interest in politics amid Donald Trump's election campaign last year, took to Instagram to mock those who this week paved the way for Mamdani's rise.

'Can this work! No,' Patrick wrote with a crying-with-laughter emoji on Instagram, where she shared a clip posted by Cuomo of Mark Cuban talking to Bill Maher, dissecting why he thinks socialist policies will fail in the Big Apple.

Patrick, 43, continued: 'Nothing is free, people. And if it is, you're the product.'

In the video she was commenting on, Cuban says on Mamdani's policies: 'Kids don't like capitalism and a lot of it is to do with social media. Ragebait works better in social media.

Danica Patrick has given a scathing verdict over Zohran Mamdani's New York election win

Patrick shared a withering verdict over Mamdani's policies on her Instagram page

Mamdani, 34, is New York's mayor-elect after his storming election victory this week

'And if Mamdani is out there saying "you're getting free housing, you're getting free transportation, cheaper groceries, that's what they are going to respond positively to.'

Maher then asks Cuban if those policies can work, to which Cuban scoffs and says 'no, course not'.

Journalist and author Andrew Ross Sorkin, sat with Maher and Cuban, then says that there is a problem with financial literacy across the United States.

Patrick, meanwhile, revealed last year that she voted for the first time in her life to help Trump return to the White House.

She made the revelation on stage with the now vice-president, JD Vance, at a rally in North Carolina.

'I just want to say I’ve never voted before, but this time around, I have to vote,' she told the crowd.

Last month, she enjoyed a MAGA night out in DC alongside Lara Trump, Tulsi Gabbard and Meghan McCain after having a group workout session in at Fort McNair.
