Philadelphia Eagles fans are claiming receiver AJ Brown's second touchdown celebration of Sunday's win over the Minnesota Vikings was actually a profane rant aimed at team quarterback Jalen Hurts.

A second-team All-Pro last season en route to his first Super Bowl title with Philadelphia, Brown's production has mysteriously dipped in 2025. He averaged more than 80 receiving yards per game in each of his first three campaigns with the Eagles, but entered Sunday with fewer than 40 yards per game over the first five weeks of 2025.

That changed on Sunday with a six-catch, 80-yard effort that included a pair of touchdowns, the second of which gave the Eagles' a 28-19 lead in the fourth quarter. Philadelphia ultimately won 28-22 to improve to 5-2.

But it was Brown post-touchdown outburst that had Eagles fans talking following the win. On-field microphones picked up several 'F' bombs from Brown, who some believe was demanding more targets from Hurts during the tirade.

While definitive transcription may be difficult to come by, fans were happy to fill in the blanks.

'This when you throw me the f***in' ball!' Brown allegedly said, as quoted by Baltimore comedian Gowie on X. 'WTF is that?! Just throw the f***in' ball!'

Hurts completed 19 for 23 passes for 326 yards and a perfect passer rating vs Minnesota

Many fans seemed to think the message was meant for Hurts.

'LET THE [offensive coordinator] AND JALEN KNOW!!' another fan wrote on X. 'THAT PHILLY ATTITUDE.'

Hurts wasn't asked about Brown's outburst in his post-game press conference.

'It's not a time to wish or hope for something to happen,' said Hurts after completing 19 for 23 passes for 326 yards and a perfect passer rating. 'It's a time to make it happen.'

Brown's fellow receiver DeVonta Smith finished with a career-high 183 receiving yards that included a 79-yard score.

'It was only a matter of time,' Smith said. 'There's still some things we can grow in certain areas, still some things that we left out there.'

The Eagles entered the week in the bottom third of the NFL in passing yards amid Brown's conspicuous decline in production.

His frustration boiled over earlier this month when Brown posted a cryptic Bible verse online.

'If you're not welcomed, not listened to, quietly withdraw,' Brown wrote on X, quoting the Gospel of Mark. 'Don't make a scene. Shrug your shoulders and be on your way.'

Later Brown clarified that the post wasn't aimed at Hurts or any of his teammates.
