AJ Brown has refused to apologize for describing his Philadelphia Eagles situation as a 's***show' and doubled down on his astonishing criticism of the team's offense.

The wide receiver is enduring a difficult season in Philadelphia, with Monday's win over the Green Bay Packers another game in which he went largely anonymous.

In a drab 10-7 victory, Brown caught two of three targets for just 13 yards, marking the fourth game this year which saw him record under 30 receiving yards.

Amid his increasingly limited role in the Eagles offense he appeared to voice his displeasure back in September, posting a cryptic verse from the Bible about not being 'welcomed', and earlier this week the 28-year-old was heard saying on a Twitch stream that everything other than his family life is a 's***show.'

'Family's good. Everything else? No. It's a s***show. You on some "How you been?" I've been struggling brother,' he told streamer JankyRondo, before adding, 'If you got me on fantasy [football], get rid of me.'

After his stunning comments went viral, Brown was asked about them during a media scrum on Wednesday night - and he refused to backtrack.

A.J. Brown said he won’t apologize for talking about his frustration on a Twitch stream Tuesday.

He said “if you have eyes” you can see why he’s frustrated and that he is pushing for the offense to improve because he wants to win and make an impact.

'After the game, I said all the right answers, and y’all still made a story,' he told reporters. 'In that moment where I’m just talking to my friend, having fun with my friend, I’m not apologizing for that.

'If you have eyes, you can see that, and so it’s not like I was throwing anybody under the bus. I’m literally trying to laugh through this s***. This s*** is tough. But I’m trying to make fun of the situation and to try to get through it.'

'It's not just solely about my situation. I want to win, too,' Brown continued. 'I think if we're really focused on winning and doing our job, we can't just keep slapping a Band-Aid over the defense doing their job and getting us out of trouble. At what point are we going to pick up our slack as an offense?

'That's what I'm getting at. It's not about, "I don't care about winning, all I care about is stats." No. It's been week after week sometimes we're not doing our job on offense.

'You can't keep slapping a Band-Aid over that and expect to win late in the year and think you're going to go to that at the end of the year. It's not going to f***ing happen.'

Brown has 31 catches for 408 yards and three touchdowns in eight games this season. He's currently on pace to finish with 867 receiving yards, which would be the lowest of his career to date.

Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni was quizzed about his receiver's latest complaints on Wednesday, insisting he is growing tired of discussing the topic.

The frustrated wide receiver has been largely anonymous in games for the Eagles this season

'I'm close to being done answering these questions with this,' Sirianni said. 'He's working hard and he is a big part of this game plan [for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions] and he'll be a big part of the game plan going forward.

'He's working like crazy when he's here, and I'm excited to have him.'

Quarterback Jalen Hurts also shut down questions about Brown when asked about the controversy this week.

'We've got the Detroit Lions, so I'm definitely going to put a halt to that,' Hurts said. 'The more we drive that, the more of a distraction it becomes. And I think ultimately, it's about the group.'
