Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren is pointing the finger at President Donald Trump - saying he is to blame for an argument between two television giants which is leaving tens of millions in the lurch.

With no end in sight for the feud between YouTube TV and Disney, which owns ESPN and ABC, fans are facing the reality of another weekend without college football - and potentially another week without Monday Night Football.

It was true last week. YouTube TV took all Disney-owned channels off its streaming platform just before midnight and locked out its over 10million subscribers through the weekend.

The issue did not resolve itself in time for Monday Night Football, with millions unable to watch the Arizona Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys.

Warren posted a tweet that evening from her official government account, saying that Trump is letting both Disney and Google (YouTube TV's parent company) 'get away' with locking out consumers.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren is blaming President Trump for allowing the dispute between YouTube TV and Disney to happen - blacking out 10million Americans from watching ESPN and ABC

The dispute has lasted for many days and has led to outrage from sports fans nationally

'You might not be able to watch Monday Night Football tonight,' she posted earlier this week.

'Why? When companies get too big, they have the power to cut off your favorite channels. That's what's happening here.'

Warren's tweet concluded: 'And what's Trump done about it? He's let them get away with it.'

While the Trump Administration has appeared to take a stance on nearly every aspect of American life, it's not clear what Warren would want the President to do in this specific situation.

However, Warren has long been a critic of Big Tech companies in the past and has accused Google of being a monopoly

She's also publicly asked the Department of Justice to scrutinize Disney, Fox, and Warner Bros for alleged anti-trust practices over their proposed joint sports streaming service.

While missing last week's Monday Night Football game between the struggling Cardinals (3-5) and Cowboys (3-5-1) may have been fine to miss for the casual viewer, that won't be the case this week.

Monday Night Football is set to broadcast a top-tier matchup from Lambeau Field in Week 10 as the Philadelphia Eagles (6-2) take on the Green Bay Packers (5-3-1).

If no resolution is made, NFL fans could miss this week's highly-anticipated Monday Night Football matchup between the high-flying Philadelphia Eagles and the Green Bay Packers

Additionally, college football fans will miss key matchups - like LSU vs. No. 4 Alabama

Moreover, there will be multiple top-25 college football games which fans will not be able to see.

Among those include:

  • No. 5 Georgia @ Mississippi State
  • No. 7 BYU @ No. 8 Texas Tech
  • No. 3 Texas A&M @ No. 22 Missouri
  • Auburn @ No. 16 Vanderbilt
  • Wake Forest @ No. 14 Virginia
  • Cal @ No. 15 Louisville
  • LSU @ No. 4 Alabama

Both Disney and Google have accused the other of being responsible for the blackouts.

Things have not gone well for either company. While hundreds of angry YouTube TV subscribers have posted evidence that they've cancelled

This year alone, YouTube TV has been in a carriage dispute with five of the biggest companies invested in sports broadcasting in the US.

While deals with Paramount (parent of CBS), Fox, and NBCUniversal were resolved before a blackout, the disputes between Disney and TelevisaUnivision remain ongoing.
