Former NFL star Chris Kluwe has taken aim at Republicans over the death of Charlie Kirk after sharing vile celebratory posts online.
Ex-Vikings punter Kluwe has become known for his outspoken political views and, earlier this year, was arrested for an explosive anti-MAGA rant.
Kluwe, 43, continued that trend as he reflected on Kirk's assassination and called out both Republicans and Donald Trump in the process.
He began by reposting an interview with Sen. Elizabeth Warren, where she dismissed the idea that Democrat rhetoric lead to Kirk's death.
In the interview, Warren said: 'Oh, please. Why don't you start with the president of the United States? And every ugly meme he's posted and every ugly word.'
In agreement, Kluwe wrote: 'F***ing finally. Fight back against the bulls*** framing that tries to make Dems responsible for everything.

'The GOP is *choosing* to create this kind of societal environment. They could stop it at any time. They have agency as well.
'They’re not f***ing children (except when, well, you know)'.
In an earlier post, he said: 'It is possible to hold both of these things true at the same time: 1) political violence is never an appropriate choice in a civilized society.
'2) Charlie Kirk's dream is to create exactly the kind of society he currently lives in, as spoken from his own mouth'.
His online tirade didn't stop there. He then shared a clip from Trump's interview on Fox News on Friday where the President discussed the radical left.
He said: 'I'll tell you something that's gonna get me in trouble but I couldn't care less.
'The radicals on the right oftentimes are radical because they don't want to see crime. The radicals on the left are the problem.'
In response, Kluwe wrote: 'I see he’s going back to one of his classics. The man is a Nazi, and every media organization worth the name should be calling him one'.
In a string of posts on social media, Kluwe took aim at Republicans in reaction to Kirk's death
Back in February, Kluwe was dragged out of the meeting by police for 'civil disobedience' after an explosive anti-MAGA rant in which he compared Trump's supporters to Nazis.
Following his tirade, the ex-Minnesota Vikings star rushed towards council members before being arrested and carried out by police officers.
He was then held in Huntington Beach jail for around four hours before being released and charged with disrupting an assembly.
As a result, Kluwe was dismissed from his role as a football coach for Edison High School in Huntington Beach.
The 43-year-old revealed he has been handed his termination papers by the school, where he had been working since 2019.
During his NFL days over a decade ago, Kluwe was already making the headlines for his political views.
Kluwe has said he is ‘pretty confident’ that he was cut from the team last May for being an out-spoken advocate for same-sex marriage.
Kluwe has also accused former Vikings special teams co-ordinator Mike Priefer - who was recently hired to Bill Belichick's University of North Carolina staff - of being a bigot who repeatedly used homophobic language in front him and told him he would ‘wind up burning in hell with the gays.’

The Vikings have previously denied cutting Kluwe for off-field reasons. Last June, Priefer refused to go into specifics about Kluwe’s release, but said he felt 'very strongly' that the Vikings needed to part ways with the punter.
'It was more consistency and productivity,' Priefer said in a response to a question about what factors, statistical or otherwise, contributed to the decision.
Asked if Kluwe could have improved his production, Priefer said simply, 'I just felt like we needed to make a change there.'
Kluwe did make the point that team owner Zygi Wilf had voiced his support for Kluwe’s public stance.
