TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A video has circulated on Instagram [archive] and YouTube claiming to show an Iranian military parade preparing for a re-engagement against Israel and the United States (US) on June 11, 2026.
The video shows missiles and rockets being transported on a highway, escorted by military personnel, in full view of the public. The uploader wrote: "The drums of war are resounding again in the Middle East. Tensions between the United States, Israel, and Iran have escalated again after a series of attacks and retaliatory attacks in recent days."
However, does the video really show Iran preparing weapons of war?
FACT CHECK
Tempo's Fact Check team verified the clip through detailed visual inspection, scanning with AI content detection software, and comparing the narrative with credible sources. The results showed that the footage of the military convoy was proven to be a fabrication of artificial intelligence technology, not a documentation of an actual event.
Visual Inconsistencies and Artificial Intelligence Detection

Tempo's analysis found various anatomical and physical flaws common in machine-generated visual products. In the first clip, the proportions of the human bodies in the video are inconsistent—some appear too small—and the shadows are noticeably directional. The waving hands of military personnel exhibit an unnatural curvature, while the shadows cast by onlookers on the sidewalk appear too long.
The video also features a watermark reading "MHRX," referring to the Facebook account MHRX Military. A search of the account confirms that all of their military video material is produced using an artificial intelligence (AI) generator.

A similar flaw is clearly visible in the second clip. The missile's propulsion jets, which should technically be facing downward or backward, are instead facing forward. Furthermore, the waving fingers appear abnormally bent and truncated.

To strengthen verification, Tempo tested the video material using two digital scanning instruments. The Hive Moderation tool detected a 99.9 percent probability of artificially generated content. Alibaba's HappyHorse software was identified as the primary generator model with an 83.5 percent confidence level, followed by the Veo model at 16 percent.

Scanning using the Zhuque AI Detection Assistant app strengthened this conclusion, with a 98.1 percent probability of machine-generated fabrication.
Iran's Defense Strategy and the Diplomatic Path
The narrative of this open parade contradicts Iranian military doctrine. Various international media reports state that Iran has strict protocols for concealing its strategic weapons systems within a network of underground bunkers.
Al Jazeera reported that Iran has been building a massive underground tunnel complex for years to store and launch missiles. This protection has prevented a series of Israeli and US airstrikes since late March 2026 from easily crippling Iran's air defenses.
The CNN report added that the Israeli and US militaries repeatedly targeted the tunnels' entrances and ventilation ducts. However, these facilities proved capable of being repaired quickly using simple tools, although the allies had to spend expensive weaponry to destroy them.
On the other hand, the current geopolitical situation actually presents room for diplomacy. The BBC reported significant progress in peace efforts between the United States and Iran. Both parties agreed to finalize a roadmap for negotiations regarding an end to the war and the opening of the Strait of Hormuz within 60 days, starting Monday, June 22, 2026.
This information was released by representatives of Pakistan and Qatar, acting as mediators, and confirmed directly by Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi. Araghchi stated on his social media account: "The mediation between Pakistan and Qatar has yielded significant progress towards ending the Lebanon War."
CONCLUSION
Based on a thorough fact-check, the Tempo Fact-Checking Team concluded that the claim in the video of a military parade depicting Iran preparing for war against Israel and the United States (US) is false.
