Gillis, 37, joined the broadcast team as part of ManningCast for the Monday Night Football game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Green Bay Packers.

During the fourth quarter, Manning said: 'Are you still on Shane? I don't even know. I thought we said goodbye but I'm just making sure you're still on'.
'I'm still here,' Gillis replied before falling silent once more.
Manning continued: 'We'll give you an opportunity. If you want to go off, you're allowed to leave. If you want to ride it out with us, you can stay with us'.
