Manchester United and rival fans alike have been quick to notice the new hair cut of a Red Devils defender.
The first Manchester derby of the season took place on Sunday afternoon, with both sides looking to improve on poor starts to the season in what would ultimately be one of their biggest games of the campaign.
It started in perfect fashion for Pep Guardiola's side, too, with Phil Foden heading in in the opening 20 minutes to immediately put the United defence on the back foot.
And it was a changed United defence at that. While Leny Yoro, Matthijs De Ligt and Luke Shaw remained at centre back, Patrick Dorgu started at left wing back, with a returning Noussair Mazraoui in at right wing back.
And fans were quick to spot a difference in the defender's look. After playing five minutes against Burnley as a substitute due to injury, he made his first start of the season on Sunday, and donned a new look to mark it.
It was indeed with a new hairstyle, after seemingly undergoing a hair transplant. The 27-year-old donned a shaved head rather than his usual longer black locks, and fans were quick to point it out on social media.
One United fan took to X to post: 'God take my hair and give it to Mazraoui.'
Another, meanwhile, wrote: 'Donnarumma and Mazraoui having a worse hair off.'
A third likened the defender's look to that of Liverpool man Mohamed Salah, who seemingly underwent a similar procedure at the end of last year.
They wrote: 'Mazraoui has been in contact with Salah's hair doctor...'
More to follow.
