Rugby league legend Keith Galloway is set to tie the knot for the second time after revealing his stunning Sydney harbourside proposal to his glamorous partner Gen.

Galloway first showed off his fiancée in June last year, making their relationship Instagram official.

News of the pair's engagement was made public overnight - with the long-time NRL player's now fiancée penning a heartfelt message to Galloway, accompanied with photos of them after the proposal.

'Keith, I love everything about you and everything that comes with you', she wrote in a post on Instagram.

'The journey to find you was SO worth the wait.

'You fill my life with sunshine, every single day!! My best friend, and now my fiancé. I love you!'

The Instagram post announcing the engagement was flooded with messages of support

Galloway first went public with the relationship in June 2024

In one of his earliest posts featuring Gen, Galloway described himself as 'batting overs', a light-hearted reference to her being too good-looking for him - and a remark some of his followers have jokingly echoed.

This isn't Galloway's first rodeo, with the former Sharks and Tigers star now headed for his second wedding.

He got married to now ex-partner Serena Brimicombe in 2013, with the former couple now sharing two children.

The new engagement announcement has been met with messages of congratulations from loved ones.

'Congratulations uso', well-known boxer Junior Talipeau wrote.

'We are so happy for you', another added.

The proposal took place at Observatory Hill with the picturesque Sydney Harbour playing second fiddle in the background.

Galloway played 210 NRL games, representing the Sharks and Wests Tigers across a 15-year career that also included a stint playing in England.

Many close to the couple, including Galloway himself have suggested he's 'batting overs' and that Gen is much better-looking than him

The 36-year-old's physique is a far cry from that of the teenager fans saw get ironed out by John Hopoate in a tackle that shocked the NRL back in 2005.

Galloway was just 19 years old when he was left unconscious after being struck in the face by Hopoate during a match against Manly at Brookvale Oval.

He has since undergone a remarkable physical transformation, and has now sealed the fate of his relationship.

It is unknown when the pair will officially tie the knot.

But for now, they'll be enjoying the exciting time.
