Ben Cousins has sent the internet into meltdown after the former West Coast and Richmond superstar published a very ‘cheeky’ video on his Instagram account.

The Prince of Perth has teamed up with StreetX for the launch of a new T-shirt.

Cousins had teased the launch of the shirt last week, but on Monday dropped a steamy advert of himself making some suggestive movements with his arms.

The camera zooms in on the footy player who is standing topless, before Cousins appears to say the words ‘it feels really good’.

As the racy video continues, the camera pans out more and more, revealing that the 47-year-old footy heartthrob was in fact just ironing a T-shirt.

The new shirt, which is being launched as part of a collaboration with StreetX, features a snap of the former Eagles star holding up his Brownlow medal, alongside two images of him playing footy.

On the front-left side of the shirt, white and gold text reads his name as well as the words ‘The Prince of Perth’.

While the clip left some fans howling with laughter, others were left stunned.

‘Never been so jealous of an iron,’ one wrote with a winking face.

‘My heart has never beat faster,’ another said. ‘Very naughty,’ added another Instagram user.

‘Bloody hell... My heart nearly stopped,’ one said, while another laughed: ‘Cheeky!’

‘I’ve literally just dribbled,’ another said.

It comes after Cousins was spotted suited and booted at last week’s Brownlow Medal ceremony.

He arrived at the Crown Palladium alongside his proud father, with the 2005 Brownlow medallist grinning from ear to ear.

But in fact it appeared that Cousins was just ironing one of his brand new T-shirts that are set to go on sale with StreetX this weekend

Fans have been reacting online to the footy star's video with one calling it 'cheeky' while another said 'I've literally just dribbled'

'Loved being back at the Brownlow and even better to be alongside Dad,' he wrote in the caption.

'Lucky to both be suited up by the best in the business - Parker & Co. Haven't we landed on our feet.'

Cousins looked fit enough to play as he posed topless for the advert.

It comes after the former Richmond star was forced to pull out a surprised footy comeback for last month's AFL All Stars match at the Marvel Stadium.

The footy great revealed that he had ramped up training in a bid to be fit for the huge match, but was unable to take part in the exhibition event, having hurt his knee.

'I stepped up my training in preparation, and unfortunately I've done myself a mischief,' Cousins told listeners on Mix 94.5 FM in Perth.

'Disappointed, but yeah, I've hurt my knee....I've never had an operation on my knee.

'I'm going to need some surgery at some point, unfortunately.'

He revealed that the injury had come about after ramping up his training loads in preparation for the All Star's match.

'I hadn't been doing much running at all....so, in a short space of time, I had to ramp it up pretty quickly if I was going to be out running and going to kick.

'It (body) was quite sore the last week (or so). I've since had scans and realised I'm getting old.'

The new T-shirts are available to buy from StreetX online from Sunday, while Cousins will be selling the shirts in-store on Saturday from 10am.
