TEMPO.CO, Jakarta The Central Management of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) has announced the departure of four athletes from the national training center to continue their careers as professional badminton players. They are Yeremia Rambitan, Rinov Rovaldy, Pitha Haningtyas Mentari, and Lisa Ayu Kusumawati.

The departure of these four athletes was disclosed by the Head of the Achievement Development Division of PBSI, Eng Hian, in Jakarta on Saturday, October 18, 2025. "We respect and understand the decision of Yere, Rinov, Pitha, and Lisa to end their time at the National Training Center," he said.

These four athletes have often competed in two categories. Yeremia competed in the men's doubles, while Rinov, Pitha, and Lisa Ayu competed in the mixed doubles. They follow their fellow national training center athletes who had previously pursued professional careers, namely Jonatan Christie and Komang Ayu Cahya Dewi.

Eng Hian stated that during their time at the PBSI National Training Center, these four athletes have contributed to the achievements of Indonesian badminton. He expressed gratitude for the dedication, hard work, and commitment shown by the athletes during their time in the training program.

With the experience gained while at the training center, he said, it will be a valuable asset for these four athletes in their future professional careers.

He further expressed PBSI's hope that the athletes will maintain professionalism and achieve success in upcoming tournaments. "In the future, we will work hard together to bring glory to Indonesia on the international stage," said Eng Hian.
