Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt has branded the college football AP poll a 'joke' as he criticized voters' treatment of Washington.
The Huskies are 3-0 this season with comfortable wins over Colorado State, UC Davis and Washington State - with the last of those being a 25-point road win.
Nonetheless, Washington remains unranked and didn't even receive any votes in the latest AP poll - something Klatt strongly disagrees with.
'The AP Poll is such a joke,' Klatt said on his eponymous show, via Awful Announcing.
'Washington got zero votes in the AP Poll. Are you guys willfully ignorant, or just ignorant? Because that's a joke. You mean to tell me that there are teams down there getting three or four votes that would get absolutely slaughtered by Washington? Please tell me you just forgot that they're in college football. Please tell me that this is a sign that you don't stay up late for games on the West Coast. Please tell me that you just haven't seen the Huskies play, because they're all the way tucked up there in the great Northwest.
'Because they've got the No. 2 scoring offense in college football at 58 points per game. They've got a hell of a quarterback, a coach that has built a winner before. [Jonah] Coleman is terrific. He's running the football well. This is a legitimate team, with the second-longest win streak - at home - in all of college football. And they don't have one vote in the AP Poll? What a joke. The AP Poll continues to show and reveal why it is so bad.

Washington remains unranked despite jumping out to a 3-0 start this college football season
Klatt's criticism of the college sports institution is not the first time the AP poll has come under fire this season.
Earlier this month, a USC beat writer was ripped by fans after moving Florida up two spots following a loss.
She later said on the USCHoops.com Podcast that she didn't 'want to go too much into my process' before downplaying her poll entirely: 'It's really fun but it doesn't probably matter in the end.'
The AP rankings are not used to determine the 12-team field for the College Football Playoff, though Klatt is nonetheless unhappy with the latest poll when it comes to Washington.
'Washington is very good, folks. Very good. That game, against Ohio State this weekend up in Seattle, started out as like an 11-point line. It's been bet all the way down. Why? Because the public is smarter than the AP,' he said.
'Period. Facts. I don't know how else to put it. The public is betting this down because they know Washington has a very good football team… I know I spent a lot of time on them, but that's apparently because nobody knows about Washington. This is a very good football team, and I remain shocked that no one will pay attention.'
The Huskies will figure to have some eyes on them when they play the defending-champion Buckeyes this weekend.
The matchup of the two undefeated schools will kick off at 3:30ET.
