NBA star Josh Giddey was seen confronting a heckling on Friday night and telling them 'you don't know s***' - before having the supporter ejected by security.

In the fourth quarter of the NBA Cup clash between the Chicago Bulls and the Charlotte Hornets, Giddey was set to inbound the ball with just 1:16 left in the game.

However, the Bulls star instead marched over to the fan sat in the second row, who had been heard heckling him and was seen flipping the bird at Giddey.

In clips circulating social media, a furious Giddey was seen pointing at the fan and saying: 'You're making jokes you don't know s*** about'.

The fan, who wore a tan sweatshirt and black sunglasses, stood up and held his fist up, seemingly as a peace offering, before Giddey batted him away.

NBA official Kevin Scott then stepped in and intervened, while calling arena security over and indicating for them to eject the fan.

The supporter then sat back down, with a bemused look on his face, before eventually being escorted out of the Spectrum Center by security.

After the fan left the arena, Giddey went and inbounded the ball however, despite the Bulls' best efforts, they were unable to turn their deficit around and lost 123-116.

Brandon Miller was the standout star for the Hornets after producing 27 points, five rebounds and one assist during the NBA Cup clash.

Giddey, meanwhile, did his best to try and secure a win for the Bulls, after scoring 25 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists, from just 33 minutes of action.

Back in 2024, while playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Giddey was accused of having an alleged inappropriate relationship with an underage female.

However, in the end, Giddey was cleared after Newport Police found no evidence to corroborate the allegations made.

In an end-of-season interview at the time, Giddey said: 'It's been a different year for me'.

The supporter was eventually kicked out by security at the Spectrum Center

'With guys coming in, sacrifice is needed for a team like this and the success we've had requires that.

'Guys have done a great job of making the right play and we've got so much talent on this team it's not going to be everyone's night every night.

'Guys have done a great job being unselfish, making the extra pass and making the extra play and that's where I think we've had success so far.

'I'm just trying to get back to me. I thought tonight was a good step in the right direction in terms of confidence and decision-making.'
