George W. Bush's hilarious reaction to 315lb Cardinals star Calais Campbell caught on ref's mic at Cowboys game

George W. Bush was caught marveling at the size of Cardinals defensive lineman Calais Campbell as the former president joined the coin toss for Arizona's clash with the Cowboys.

Bush, 79, and his wife Laura were on the field ahead of the Monday Night Football collision between the Cardinals and his beloved Cowboys at AT&T Stadium.

The 43rd president, who served from 2001 and 2009, flipped the coin before kickoff and appeared to be struck by Cardinals veteran Campbell.

As reported by Arizona writer Darren Urban, Bush was heard on the referee's microphone as he shook hands with the 6ft 8in, 315lb lineman.

'Good God, man!' Bush, 79, said as he sized up Campbell, an NFL veteran who is in his second stint with the Cardinals.

His first joined Arizona in 2008, while Bush was still in the Oval Office. Bush was raised in Texas and served as the state's 46th governor.

The 79-year-old, a former co-owner of MLB's Texas Rangers, took part in the pre-game coin toss before the Cowboys' clash with the Philadelphia Eagles in November 2024.

On Monday night, the bitter standoff between Disney and Google forced millions of NFL fans to miss the game between the Cowboys and Cardinals. 

The two companies' carriage dispute, centered around the technology giant's call to remove some programming from its YouTube TV service, entered its fourth day on Monday, having already robbed viewers of a jam-packed weekend of sporting action.

YouTube TV, the popular streaming service owned by Google, dramatically pulled every channel owned by Disney, including ESPN networks and ABC, late on the night of October 30. 

Four days later, the dramatic in-fighting is continuing to cost sports fans as 10 million YouTube TV subscribers remain without access to ESPN and ABC for the NFL's Monday Night Football.
