TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Google Cloud and Boston Consulting Group (BCG) have launched an AI Innovation Center in Indonesia. This partnership aims to help businesses innovate by using artificial intelligence (AI) on a large scale.
"The AI Innovation Center is proof of our dedication to supporting businesses in Indonesia with the tools they need to succeed in the AI era," said Fanly Tanto, Country Director of Google Cloud Indonesia, in a press release quoted by Antara on Friday, March 14, 2025.
Tanto explained that the AI Innovation Center is designed to assist companies and government organizations in using AI to improve efficiency, create better customer experiences, and find new business opportunities.
This innovation center offers expertise, technology, training, and guidance, allowing businesses to use generative AI for their specific needs, find problems that AI can solve, and test AI solutions on a small scale.
Tanto mentioned that the AI Innovation Center offers an AI sandbox, a testing space built on Google Cloud technology. This includes powerful AI infrastructure, the Vertex AI platform, advanced AI models, and easy-to-use development tools.
"By combining Google Cloud's advanced AI platform with BCG's deep knowledge of various industries, we believe we can help companies in Indonesia turn their business needs into effective plans, designs, and implementations to gain a competitive edge," Tanto added.
