Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung monitored the implementation of traffic engineering trials in Jalan TB Simatupang area, Jakarta, Monday (15/9/2025). DKI Jakarta Provincial Government conducted a traffic engineering trial with the scheme of opening GT Fatmawati 2 on the left for free up to the Lebak Bulus exit. This trial is planned to last until Friday (19/9) to overcome congestion in the region.
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung explained about the inauguration of his wife, Endang Nugrahani Pramono Anung, as Mother of PAUD of DKI Jakarta Province, which went viral on social media.
Pramono confirmed that his wife has no official position or salary in the environment of the Provincial Government (Pemprov) of DKI Jakarta. “I don't have any office at City Hall,” he said.
He added, “So my wife doesn't actually have any office at City Hall. Those who have been made official have special positions as special staff of the governor, no.”
Pramono explained that his wife is a housewife who does not have a social media account and has never interfered with her work as governor. The inauguration that went viral on social media was his wife's inauguration as Mother of PAUD.
The inauguration of Our Lady of PAUD is in accordance with the regulations of the minister of interior (permendagri) who arrange the wives of the regent, the mayor, and the governor to carry out the duties.
“My wife is a housewife, she just doesn't have medsos and she doesn't want to bother me. Because there are rules of the game, then also the permendagri that governs his wife regent, mayor, governor, to be the Mother of PAUD,” he explained Wednesday (17/9/2025).
As Bunda PAUD DKI Jakarta, Endang Nugrahani Pramono Anung does not even receive the slightest salary. The position as Bunda PAUD is a job to carry out various social activities in Jakarta.
“So I named my wife as Mother of PAUD not getting paid a cent. It's more social,” Pramono said.
Pramono reiterated that his wife was not involved in work affairs at the City Hall and her position as Mother of PAUD did not receive a salary from the DKI Provincial Government.
“Again, I want to make it clear that my wife is not helping or interfering with my work. Since then my wife has never been,” Pramono countered.
