TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The starting lineup for Indonesia’s U-23 national team in a friendly match against India has been announced.
The game, part of the team’s preparations for the 2025 SEA Games, takes place at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Senayan, Jakarta, on Friday, October 10, 2025.
Coach Indra Sjafri has named Kadek Arel Priyatna as captain.
In this match, Cahya Supriadi will start as goalkeeper. The defensive line features Kadek Arel, Muhammad Ferrari, and Frengky Daener Missa, supported by Dony Tri Pamungkas at left-back and Alfharezzi Buffon on the right.
The midfield trio consists of Ananda Raehan Alief, Muhammad Rayhan Hanan, and Toni Firmansyah, while Hokky Caraka and Victor Dethan will lead the attack up front.
Coach Indra explained that the friendly serves as an evaluation of players’ ability to execute the team’s game plan rather than a final lineup for the upcoming SEA Games.
“This is still part of the early preparation phase,” he said, adding that the team’s intensive training program will continue until November.
The current training camp began on October 3 and will run through October 14. As part of the preparation, the Young Garuda squad will play two friendlies against India, with the second match scheduled for next Monday.
