Holly Ramsay and Adam Peaty BAN his mother from their wedding: Bitter family fallout after Holly's mother-in-law was snubbed from her Soho Farmhouse hen party

Holly Ramsay and Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty have banned his mother from their wedding after an astonishing family row over his bride's failure to invite her future mother-in-law to her hen party.

The influencer daughter of fiery chef Gordon Ramsay welcomed her own mother Tana, family friend Victoria Beckham and Adam's sister to her pre-nuptial celebrations at the celebrity hotspot Soho Farmhouse.

But she failed to invite the swimmer's mother Caroline Peaty, 59, who helped steer him to Olympic glory. Caroline instead stayed at home in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, looking after her five-year-old grandson George.

A source close to Adam's working-class family said the apparent snub happened after the swimmer, who was once close to his mother, had distanced himself from her after being seduced by the fame and glamour of the Ramsays.

The ill-feeling was apparently made worse by Adam, who has three Olympic gold medals, inviting his future father-in-law Gordon Ramsay to his own stag night while his mother was not asked to attend his bride's stylish celebrations in the Cotswolds.

His aunt Louise Williams exposed the heartbreak over her sister being left off the guest list last weekend by hitting out at Holly in a public Instagram post which accused her of being 'divisive and hurtful'.

Louise blasted Holly over the snub to her future mother-in-law who had 'opened her home and heart to you', saying it had inflicted 'a hurt on my sister that will take a very long time to heal if ever'.

Her post stated: '@hollyramsayy I'm so glad that you had a great hen do. As a bride, you deserve that. However, as a person you were divisive and hurtful towards a woman, who I have loved and continue to love deeply.

The Daily Mail can reveal bride-to-be Holly, the daughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, caused 'deep upset' by not welcoming Adam's mother Caroline at her hen party this weekend

Holly celebrated her nuptials to Adam by hosting close friends and family at Soho Farmhouse, with guests including her mother Tana Ramsay, sisters Megan and Tilly, and Victoria Beckham

'A woman who opened her home and heart to you. You decided, for whatever reason, not to invite her, your prospective mother-in-law to your hen night yet Adam invited his father-in-law, your dad, to his stag night.

'You invited your mum (quite rightly) and even your mum's assistant, your sisters, your friends, my niece, but not my sister, your future mother-in-law.

'I have also seen messages passing between her and Adam about this and other matters and, quite frankly, I expected better of you and definitely of Adam. You have inflicted a hurt on my sister that will take a very long time to heal if ever.'

The post is said to have deeply upset Holly, 25, and world champion swimmer Adam, 30, who have been dating for more than two years and are due to get married at Bath Abbey at Christmas.

A source close to the Peaty family revealed that the swimmer had left his mother 'heartbroken' after her sister's post by contacting her to ban her from the wedding and to tell her she would not see his son George or any future grandchildren again.

In another message to his mother, seen by the Daily Mail, Adam stated his intention to disown his family, despite them having supported him throughout his career.

Caroline waded into the incredible row by expressing her distress in an Instagram post which stated: 'Crying is a way your eyes speak when your mouth can't explain how broken your heart is.'

Her post attracted messages of support and concern from friends including one who commented: 'Don't let them drag you down Caroline.'

The same person added in a further comment: 'You know considering they are both supposed to be mental health advocates they don't seem to be showing much regard for yours.'

Adam's aunt Louise Williams exposed the heartbreak over her sister being left off the guest list last weekend by hitting out at Holly in a public Instagram post

The Olympian's mum posted on her Instagram profile: 'Crying is a way your eyes speak when your mouth can't explain how broken your heart is'

The remark was a reference to the well-publicised mental health struggles of Holly and world champion Adam who took a competitive break from swimming in 2023 after 'three years of hell' which saw him battle depression and alcoholism.

Adam's mother was always known as one of his staunchest supporters during his swimming career, and famously got up at 4am when he was a boy to drive him for 40 minutes to training sessions with the City of Derby swimming club.

In a punishing routine which went on for more than three years, she would then hang around for up to two hours before driving him home and going to her own job as a nursery manager while her husband and Adam's father Mark worked as a caretaker at a Lidl store.

A source close to Adam's family said they believed the 'heartbreaking' rift had been developing between the swimming star and his mother ever since he had begun dating Holly.

The pair met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2021 when Peaty and Holly's younger sister Tilly were both competing on the series.

Adam split with his partner Eirianedd Munro, the mother of his son George, in 2022. He and Holly reportedly began dating in May 2023 and quickly confirmed their relationship the following month.

The source explained Adam's deteriorating relationship with his mother, saying: 'It's partly because Adam doesn't feel his family is good enough for the new one he is now part of.

'Adam has changed so much since he's been with Holly. She comes from a celebrity world, while his parents do not, and his ego and self-importance have grown. He's no longer the lovely boy next door we all remember.'

The source said that Adam's parents 'sacrificed so much' for him, even putting themselves into debt as he trained for Olympic glory.

They added: 'Caroline is devastated by the rift and doesn't know what she has done wrong.

'Adam's relationship with his mum and dad Mark are at an all-time low, and now she's not coming to the wedding,

'She had been so excited and really wanted to be involved and had offered to make lovely table setting name plates, as she is a skilful craftswoman, but she was told her help wasn't needed.

'As time has gone on, things have become strained and there have been rows, the tension has been very fraught. Caroline is in pieces and is absolutely heartbroken that it's gotten to this point.

'Caroline and her Mark put Adam's career above everything and supported him through thick and thin so for their relationship to have crumbled is so upsetting.

'They feel that Adam started to grow distant from his family after he met Holly and they started to become more serious. There is a feeling that money is an issue.

'His family are working class and proud - it's a stark contrast to the Ramsay family and some members of the family have said it feels like Adam is ashamed of them.'

The source said it was believed that the only member of Adam's family now due to attend the wedding was his sister Bethany, with nobody else being able to afford the hotel costs.

In a stinging attack on the Olympian the family member told the Daily Mail: 'Adam has forgotten where he has come from. He no longer thinks his own family is good enough for him, and it's very hurtful and spiteful.

'Adam's mum did everything in her power to help him pursue his Olympic dream and now he's banning her from his life.

'She was so happy when he and Holly got snagged and opened her heart and home to her.'

Initially, Mrs Peaty and her husband were invited to the wedding, along with other family members, and Caroline excitedly bought a dress.

But, according to the source, the star and his fiancée didn't like it so offered to buy her a different one of their choice.

The Peatys had been gifted train travel and accommodation to visit Bath to go shopping, which they accepted.

But the planned trip never happened because train services going south were either delayed or cancelled due to multiple stabbings on a train in Huntingdon two weeks ago.

The source said: 'Caroline and Mark couldn't make the journey and instead of rearranging it, Adam went mad they had missed it and moaned they had wasted his money and he wouldn't be able to get a refund.

'For goodness sake, he's a multi-millionaire. It's all so sad, not one really knows what goes on behind closed doors.

'Adam doesn't really want or need his family anymore.

'It is heartbreaking to see this once normal, close-knit family fall apart.'

The source said that on Sunday after the extended hen celebrations. Mrs Peaty received a berated call form her son and a series of text messages whilst she was dropping her grandson George back with his ex partner.

A childhood photo of Holly was placed at her seat at the table, alongside a 'bride' headdress

'Caroline had kindly looked after George while missing out on the party, and was thanked with a volley of abuse after a relative posted a comment on Holly's Instagram.'

Adam won his first Olympic gold in the 100m breaststroke in 2016, and won a second in the same event, another in the mixed relay at the 2020 games which were held in Tokyo in 2021 due to Covid.

He claimed two years ago that he never 'wanted to see a pool again' due to the pressure of the sport, leaving him 'broken'.

But he overcame his depression with the help of his family and Holly, and made a roaring return at the Paris Olympics last year, earning a silver medal and falling just short of gold by an agonising 0.02 seconds in the breaststroke.

Holly posted a series of pictures on her Instagram account showing her and her friends and family arriving for her stylish pre-wedding bachelorette celebration at the Soho Farmhouse last Friday.

She looked stunning in all white as she was joined by her mother Tana, sisters Megan and Tilly and Peaty's sister Bethany to kick off her weekend of celebrations.

Holly posted a series of pictures on her Instagram account which has nearly 400,000 followers as her weekend got underway, alongside a message saying: 'Bachelorette weekend starts now. I love my sisters and mama so much.'

Adam, a three-time Olympic gold medalist and two-time silver medalist, has previously credited his parents for supporting him throughout his illustrious Olympic career

One picture showed her wearing a long wool coat layered over a long-sleeved top and wide-leg jeans with cream trainers and a cute white bow in her hair.

Another snap featured her and Tana walking hand-in-hand at the exclusive Cotswolds venue, set in 100 acres of Oxfordshire countryside.

A further picture showed a beautifully arranged table featuring a personalised champagne bottle, and cups labelled 'Bride' and 'Team Bride.'

More pictures from later on in the weekend, showed Holly in a short white dress, high heels and a bridal headdress while others showed her and guests wearing Adam Peaty face masks.

One showed her in a group shot with her guests, including Victoria Beckham, and a post saying: 'My girls gave me the best weekend, my heart is so full', accompanied by a heart emoji.

Holly and Adam declined to comment.
