TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI) reported that 572,506 units of motorcycles were exported to various countries in 2024, marking a slight increase in the number of exports compared to the previous year with 570,004 units.

Despite jotting down an export growth in 2024, Indonesia’s motorcycle exports have yet to surpass the records in 2019 and 2021, which recorded overseas sales of 810,433 units and 803,831 units, respectively.
More than half, or 50.06 percent, of the motorcycles exported last year were automatic motorcycles. The figure is followed by underbone motorcycles, which record 25.48 percent exports, and 24.4 percent for sports motorcycles.
