TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) recorded that, during Financial Inclusion Month in October, the number of investors in the Indonesian capital market reached 19,154,487 single investor identifications (SID). From this number, new capital market investors in 2025 reached 4,282,848 SID, an increase of 58.4 percent compared to the addition of 2,703,578 new investors in 2024.

Meanwhile, the number of stock investors in the IDX reached 8,083,076, with 1,701,632 new investors joining throughout 2025. Compared to the growth of 1,125,873 new stock investors in 2024, this number increased by 51.2 percent.

The IDX President Director, Iman Rachman, said that the increase in the number of investors indicates a growing public awareness of investing, especially among the younger generation under 30. This group is now more active and confident in investing.

"This achievement is the result of the commitment of IDX along with all stakeholders in conducting various consistent and targeted education and literacy activities, such as the Capital Market School, My Stock Investor, and CMSE," he said in a written statement on Thursday, November 6, 2025.

Throughout March-October 2025, IDX held 101 Road to CMSE events in various regions. These events were attended by over 185,000 people, and 184,000 new investors were added. At the two-day Road to Capital Market Summit & Expo (Road to CMSE) 2025, IDX presented 13 speakers, six moderators, and 88 booths with 95 tenants.

IDX recorded increased enthusiasm from these activities compared to 2024. A total of 25,180 people registered for CMSE 2025, which is an increase of 105.9 percent. Meanwhile, the number of visitors reached 48,308, an increase of 12.3 percent. Of this number, 11,682 people attended in person, which is a 51.4 percent increase. Additionally, 36,626 people participated virtually through IDX's YouTube channel and offline screenings at various IDX representative offices.

By the end of October 2025, IDX, through its Representative Office network, had conducted 14,993 educational activities throughout Indonesia attended by 14,333,853 participants. Of these activities, 5,415 were digital and 9,578 were face-to-face or hybrid. Of all the participants in these educational activities, 319,177 opened a securities account.

Iman stated that all of these activities reflect IDX's commitment to increasing capital market inclusion and financial literacy of the public through a sustainable, collaborative, and inclusive approach.

"In the future, IDX hopes that more and more people will not only be familiar with the capital market, but also actively participate as part of the national economy's competitive and sovereign growth," he said.
