TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) recorded 476,000 domestic capital market investors in November, bringing the total to 19.67 million investors in 2025.
"The year-to-date numbers skyrocket by 4.80 million to 19.67 million," said the Executive Head of Market Regulation, Financial Derivatives, and Carbon Market of the OJK, Inarno Djajadi, in a virtual press conference on Thursday, December 11, 2025.
In line with a sustained resilience of the national economy amidst global dynamics, Inarno said the domestic capital market performance maintains a positive trend by marking a 32.29 percent growth.
The OJK recorded the Indonesian Composite Index (IHSG) end of November, closing at 8,508.71, which reflects a 4.22 percent m-t-m growth and 20.18 percent y-t-d growth. During that period, the IHSG once again set an All-Time High (ATH) at 8,602.13 on November 26, 2025. In a similar vein, the stock market capitalization reached Rp15,711 trillion on the same date.
Inarno stated that transaction liquidity in the domestic stock market increased in the second half of 2025, driven by the growing active role of domestic individual investors. This was reflected in the Daily Average Transaction Value (DATV) of stocks in November 2025, which reached an All-Time High record of Rp23.14 trillion.
Meanwhile, foreign investors recorded a net purchase in the domestic stock market amounting to Rp12.20 trillion m-t-m. Thus, the accumulated y-t-d sell by foreign investors amounted to Rp29.58 trillion. "The strengthening interest of foreign investors in the last two months indicates positive confidence and perception towards the domestic market," said Inarno.
