This is the wild moment a jockey tried to climb onto a rival horse during a race - before falling off and getting trampled.
The dramatic incident happened during the $1 million Jockey Club Gold Cup (G1) at Saratoga Race Course in New York on Sunday.
The jockey involved was Irad Ortiz Jr, who was riding Mindframe, the 9-5 second favourite, before being thrown from his seat and clambering onto a rival.
He fell just seconds after the race began and left his competitor stunned, before falling away and seemingly being trampled by multiple horses.
The shocking moment went viral on social media shortly after, with many fans showing their support for Ortiz.
Ortiz was later checked out on the track by medical staff before reportedly being taken to Albany Medical Center.

He was said to be alert but had pain in his ribs and left hand and was being looked at for possible head or neck injuries.
Despite the chaos, the race went on and it was Ortiz's stablemate Antiquarian who came out on top.
The horse, ridden by John Velazquez, won by 1.5 lengths and earned a spot in this year's Breeders' Cup Classic at Del Mar.
Some suggested that Kendrick Carmouche, who rode Phileas Fogg, was partly to blame for the incident, however he said otherwise after the race.
Carmouche said: 'I thought I was clear. I came over a little, but then Dylan [Davis, on contrary Thinking] went more. I don't think I had anything to do with it.'
