Jerry Jones will only trade wantaway Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons if he receives three first-round draft picks in return, a source has told DailyMail.com.
Parsons, 26, requested a trade away from the iconic franchise at the start of August, stating on social media: 'I no longer want to play for the Dallas Cowboys.'
The four-time Pro Bowl linebacker has sat out all training camp practices this summer while seeking a long-term extension to make him one of the NFL's highest-paid defensive players. However, he has attended team meetings and walkthroughs.
Amid the contract standoff, Cowboys owner Jones has taken a number of public shots at Parsons, including when he claimed last week that the extension offered to him would've made him the highest-paid guaranteed player other than a quarterback in the NFL.
The 82-year-old also accused Parsons' agent David Mulugheta of deliberately sabotaging the negotiations.
And according to an insider, Jones has no intention of letting him go unless Dallas gets some incredibly rewarding draft picks in return.

'Jerry Jones only wants to trade Micah if he gets three first-round picks among even more picks in later rounds to help Dallas,' the source said. 'The rumors of a trade with Green Bay are there but Jerry doesn't want to pull the trigger unless he gets a full haul of players and picks and he doesn't believe that Green Bay is willing to do it.
'There has been lots of talk that Green Bay will actually do it and then sign Micah for $45million a year guaranteed. It seems far fetched, because it currently is, as the most likely situation is that Micah will be with the Cowboys in the start of the season and not play until he gets a new contract or eventually traded.
'Don't be surprised if Micah announces an "injury" if he is still with the Cowboys as the season begins, because they are not close to making a deal and he is still very mad with Jerry and Dallas for not getting anything done. It is still a mess.'
Parsons has cited a back injury as he continues to sit out of Dallas practices ahead of the 2025 season, which they kick off next Thursday on the road against Super Bowl champions the Philadelphia Eagles.
The former Penn State player, who was selected by Jones' franchise with the 12th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, has seemingly reaffirmed his intention to leave by removing any mention of the Cowboys from his X account.
Instead his bio now references 'Penn state 2021', followed by 'TBD', which suggests he is not considering a new deal in Dallas.
Jones said about the contract standoff on Thursday: 'We had our agreements on term, amount, guarantees and everything. We were gonna send it over to the agent.

'The agent said, "Don't bother because we've got all that to negotiate." Well, I'd already negotiated that. I'd already moved off my mark on several areas.
'The issue, very frankly, is we've had the negotiation in my mind. The agent is trying to get his nose in it and trying to come in there and improve off what we've already said.'
Parsons is under contract with a fifth-year option that would pay him $24m in 2025.
In 63 games over four seasons with Dallas, the superstar pass rusher has 256 tackles, 112 quarterback hits, 52.5 sacks, nine forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries.
He tallied 12 sacks, 43 tackles and two forced fumbles in 13 games last year.
