Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor has said he expects Joe Burrow to finally make his return on Thursday night.
The quarterback has been out since week two of the NFL season after undergoing surgery for turf toe.
He practiced with the team last week but the Bengals were cautious and kept him out of their loss to the New England Patriots.
But now Burrow will be unleashed against the Baltimore Ravens on Thanksgiving as the Bengals try to keep their feint hopes of making the playoffs alive.
Moments after Taylor made the announcement, Burrow posted an old picture of himself in the mirror wearing a tight Cleveland Cavaliers jersey, captioning it: 'He's back'.
Cincinnati´s franchise quarterback suffered the injury to his left big toe during the first half of the September 14 game against Jacksonville.
Veteran quarterback Joe Flacco made his sixth start for the Bengals on Sunday and they have now dropped eighth of their last nine games.
More to follow.
