Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has landed another new job - just a week after he ruled out a return to management.
The German has been working as the Global Head of Soccer at Red Bull in the wake of his emotional Liverpool exit at the end of the 2023-24 season, overseeing the football strategy of Red Bull's sides, including Leipzig and Salzburg.
He left Liverpool after eight-and-a-half years in a reign that saw him win both the Premier League and Champions League, and fans were left wondering what side he would take charge of next.
Last week, though, the 58-year-old cast doubt on his future career in the dugout, saying that he 'thinks' his management career is over and that he 'doesn't miss anything' about the job.
He continues to keep himself busy at Red Bull, though, and he has now taken up a new role alongside a former Real Madrid star to add even more to his plate.
According to BILD, Klopp will become a member of a new 'expert' group at the German Football League, where he will look to pool the expertise of clubs, the league, and external experts in one body to identify future priorities for football development.

A DFL statement read: 'The expert group will address, among other things, the training and integration of talented players as well as the further development of club standards and structures.
'Initial results are to be discussed in the league committees in spring 2026 and subsequently with all 36 clubs.'
Alongside Klopp will be German World Cup winner Sami Khedira, who became synonymous with Real Madrid throughout his playing career, while also featuring for the likes of Stuttgart and Juventus.
Also involved are Andreas Bornemann of St Pauli, Joti Chatzialexiou of FC Nuremberg, Markus Krosche of Eintracht Frankfurt and Jochen Sauer of Bayern Munich.
The German opened up on his new life involving travel cinema trips, weddings, skiing, padel, and golf in a laugh-a-minute interview with The Athletic. His seven-month hiatus after leaving Anfield was a blissful period.
Klopp says that as much as he lived for the touchline, his 'movie star' lifestyle wasn't all it was cracked up to be; it was exhausting, sometimes mundane, and left little time for loved ones.
So, he won't coach again? 'That’s what I think. But you don’t know. I’m 58. If I started again at 65, everybody will say, "You said you’ll never do it again!" Er, sorry, I thought 100 per cent (when I said it)! That is what I think now. I don’t miss anything.
'The thought was not that I would do this until the end of my life.'

Since starting out as a manager he has been to two weddings - one was his own with Ulla in 2005 and one was a couple of months ago. He claims he never went to the cinema as a manager, but has been four times in the last two months.
A more carefree lifestyle suits him. He didn't even watch every Liverpool game in his seven-month hiatus. 'I didn’t know when games started. I was just out,' he told The Athletic.
'I played sports. We enjoyed life, spent time with the grandkids, completely normal stuff, knowing I will work again. But knowing as well, that I don’t want to work as a coach anymore.'
He describes how he never really got to enjoy the locations he visited as a manager because the itinerary strictly involved the hotel, training pitch, or stadium.
His wife, Ulla, is now in charge of holidays - much better than the Premier League or Bundesliga executives dictating when he can and can't kick back.
