Lewis Hamilton has revealed he is not looking forward to next season after his miserable year continued in Las Vegas.
Seven-time world champion Hamilton, 40, linked up with Ferrari ahead of the 2025 campaign in a blockbuster move after signing a multi-year contract worth £60million-per-year.
However, Hamilton has struggled, failing to make it on to the podium in any race and he qualified in last for the Las Vegas Grand Prix this weekend.
That was a first for the Brit, and although he did make it up to 10th - before later being upgraded to eighth after the McLarens of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri were disqualified for a technical infringement - Hamilton was left hugely disappointed.
'It's a terrible result,' he bemoaned to BBC Radio 5 Live. 'There is nothing positive to take from today.
'I'm eager for it to end, I'm looking forward to it ending. I'm not looking forward to the next one.'

When pressed if 'next one' meant the Qatar Grand Prix next weekend, Hamilton clarified: 'Next season.'
Hamilton's downbeat comments came following similar one after the Brazilian Grand Prix two weeks ago when he was forced to retire.
'I feel terrible,' he told Sky Sports after describing his first campaign with Ferrari as 'a nightmare'. 'It's been the worst season ever and no matter how much I try, it keeps getting worse.'
Hamilton is currently sixth in the drivers' championship, 73 points behind his Ferrari team-mate Charles Leclerc, and a whopping 138 adrift of leader Lando Norris.
Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur did attempt to downplay Hamilton's negative comments in the aftermath of Las Vegas, insisting they were made so soon after finishing a disappointing race.
'Let's calm down,' Vasseur said. 'To jump out of the car and to make the first comment it's always a bit too much and let's discuss after the debrief.
'Obviously it's been tough for Lewis the last couple of weekends and he said it's been hard.
'I can understand the reaction from Lewis just after the race, but we just have to calm down to discuss and to be focused on the next two [races], because the next two we will be back.
'And keep in mind also that Lewis was there in FP1, in FP2 the pace was good, and it means that we have to build up the weekend like this and for sure to start from P20 is not the best way to have a good result.'
