Liverpool got back to winning ways at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon with a 2-0 victory against West Ham.
Alexander Isak bagged his first Premier League goal for the Reds with a cleanly-struck half-volley before Cody Gakpo sealed the win late-on.
Daily Mail Sport's LEWIS STEELE was in East London to see how Liverpool fared.
Alisson - 6.5
Seemed to try to calm down his Brazil team-mate Lucas Paqueta when he was moaning at the referee – but then changed his mind, left the West Ham midfielder to it, and he was sent off. Alisson did well with crosses.
Joe Gomez - 7.5
First start in the Premier League since December 2024 and Gomez made his case to be in the team every week. Solid in the air defending set-pieces and got forward well from right back.
Liverpool got back to winning ways on Sunday with a victory against West Ham in London
It was a three points which eased the pressure on Arne Slot after a concerning few weeks
Ibrahima Konate - 7.5
Has been rightly criticised in recent weeks but this was miles better from the Frenchman. Dealt with West Ham’s aerial bombardment.
Virgil van Dijk - 6.5
Both he and Konate punched some nice balls through the lines to midfield team-mates. Much better.
Milos Kerkez - 7
Gomez in at right back meant Kerkez had the licence to bomb forward a bit more on the other side. One of his best performances in a Liverpool shirt.
Ryan Gravenberch - 7
Some nice football and silky touches. The Dutchman was excellent in shadowing the defence today.
Alexis Mac Allister - 6.5
A tenacious performance from the Argentine.
Florian Wirtz had his best performance in a Liverpool shirt and is Lewis Steele's man of the match
Alexander Isak was not at his absolute best but bagged his first Premier League goal for Liverpool
Cody Gakpo has had his critics in recent weeks and, though there were some wasteful moments, Gakpo put in a solid shift
Dominik Szoboszlai - 6
Put in a great shift off the ball and did well to assist Gakpo for Liverpool’s second goal. Played in a slightly different role of right winger but did well.
Florian Wirtz - 8
Man of the match. Ran the show for the first hour and would have had an assist or two if they had better finishing. His best performance in a Reds shirt.
Cody Gakpo - 7
Lovely cutback assist for Isak’s opener and a composed finish for Liverpool’s second. The Dutchman has had his critics in recent weeks and, though there were some wasteful moments, Gakpo put in a solid shift.
Alexander Isak - 7
Still far from perfect but he was signed to score goals so let’s judge him on that. An instinctive finish that could start to change the whole narrative around his career. Eased pressure on him.
