Liverpool 'approach Newcastle for Alexander Isak in £120MILLION deal' - and have already 'lined up their Plan B if they fail to land No 1 target'

Liverpool have reportedly made an approach to sign Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak and have communicated their interest to do a deal in the region of £120million. 

According to The Athletic, the Premier League champions have not made a formal offer and are 'well aware' of the Magpies' stance that their star man is not for sale. 

The Reds have long admired the 25-year-old, whose 23 league goals last term were only bettered by Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah
