Louis Rees-Zammit is set to make his international comeback from the bench when Wales take on Argentina in Cardiff on Sunday.
After returning to rugby for the start of this season after a stint in the NFL, the flying wing has been recovering from a toe injury sustained playing for Bristol against Saracens last month.
It means he has only been deemed fit enough to be a replacement for new head coach Steve Tandy’s first game in charge against the Pumas.
Josh Adams and Tom Rogers start in the wide berths.
'There's always a temptation to start someone like Louis, but we've got to do what's right by him and the group,’ said Tandy.
‘For Louis, he’s played two (PREM Rugby) games since he's come back and then he's had an injury.

'It's his first full training week this week. We've got two boys who are match fit.
'Bringing Louis off the bench does add a massive opportunity to add impact to the game as well.’
Saracens prop Rhys Carre does start for what will be his first Wales appearance since 2023.
Rees-Zammit, meanwhile, hasn’t played internationally since that year’s World Cup.
Argentina make four changes and a positional switch from last month's 29-27 loss to South Africa at Twickenham.
But even with injuries, the Pumas are packed with pace and power and it must not be forgotten they have beaten the Lions and New Zealand this year.
'I can't wait to see Rhys go out there and put a performance in,’ said Tandy.
‘He's come into the environment and been excellent.
'A lot of times I think we can always focus on what people can't do but ultimately we can see what Rhys can do and he has played well for Saracens.’
