TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State railway company PT Kereta Api Indonesia, or KAI, will operate the Greater Jakarta Light Rail Transit, or Jabodebek LRT, until after midnight on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2024. On normal days, the last departure of Jabodebek LRT is at 22:39, and it will be extended to 01:33.
Executive Vice President of Jabodebek LRT Mochamad Purnomosidi said the schedule adjustment was made to facilitate the mobility of people who want to enjoy New Year's Eve.
"As the public's enthusiasm to celebrate the New Year has the potential to cause congestion, we hope that the public can use public transportation such as the Jabodebek LRT so that their journey is more comfortable, safe, and smooth," Purnomosidi said in a written statement, Thursday, December 26, 2024.
Although the operating hours have been extended, Purnomosidi ensured that the fares will remain normal at Rp10,000 during off-peak hours and Rp20,000 during peak hours. Peak hours are from 06:00 to 08:59 and 16:00 to 19:59. Outside of these times, off-peak fares apply.

- Dukuh Atas BNI - Harjamukti: 01:40
