They secured their spot by defeating Hillstate 3-1 in the third playoff semifinal match at the Suwon Indoor Gymnasium on Saturday, March 29, 2025, winning the playoff series 2-1 on aggregate.
This marks Red Sparks' first appearance in the V-League final in 13 years. They will now compete for the championship title against Pink Spiders, who advanced directly to the final as the regular season champions.
In the decisive third playoff game, Red Sparks demonstrated their strength, defeating the home team with set scores of 26-24, 12-25, 25-19, and 25-20.
Indonesian player Megawati Hangestri delivered an outstanding performance for Red Sparks, scoring 26 points, the highest of any player in the match.
Vanja Bukilic also contributed significantly with 15 points, including four blocks. Jeong Ho-young and Park Eun-jin added 13 and 12 points, respectively.

The second set continued the high intensity, with neither team able to establish a significant lead until 8-8. Hillstate then surged ahead and won the set 12-25. However, Red Sparks regained their momentum and won the following two sets, with the combination of Megawati and Bukilic proving crucial to their success.
