The family of WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda is pushing back on reports that the is in hospice after suffering a heart attack.
Mika Rotunda posted a statement to her Facebook account - clarifying that her Uncle and former tag-team partner, Barry Windham, misspoke when he disclosed the information of Mike's recovery.
While Barry stated that Mike is in hospice, the former wrestling superstar is actually in a rehabilitation center.
Mike is in that facility after the medical scare on September 20 forced him into a coma for a week and resulted in a month-long hospital stay.
'By the grace of God, he has now transitioned to a rehabilitation center, where our family remains present, hopeful, and focused on his recovery,' Mika wrote in her post.
Mika said that his road to recovery is still long, but that his condition has improved.

'At this time, we kindly ask for privacy as we continue walking this journey together—but we warmly welcome continued prayers, good energy, and healing thoughts for his recovery.'
Rotunda became a household name during the 1980s and 1990s when he competed in the WWE, WCW and New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
He competed under a host of ring names including IRS and was briefly part of the nWo.
In his time, he won three NWA World Television Championships and one NWA World Tag Team Championship.
With the WWE, he won five Tag-Team Championship belts - two with Barry Windham and three with 'Million Dollar Man' Ted DiBiase.
Rotunda and Windham were voted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2024.
