A leaked internal memo has revealed that the bitter TV dispute between Disney and Google is far from being resolved in a major blow to 10 million sports fans.

The feud has spilled over into a second weekend of sporting action, meaning those who subscribe to Google's YouTube TV have been unable to watch any Disney-owned channels.

This includes all of ABC and ESPN's college football slate, as well as the NFL's mammoth Monday Night Football showdown between the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles.

But, in a fresh blow to subscribers, The Athletic has exposed an internal memo sent by three high-ranking Disney executives that offers little hope of a resolution in the near future.

'Rather than compete on a level playing field, Google's YouTube TV has approached these negotiations as if it were the only player in the game,' the memo, signed by Disney Entertainment co-chairmen Dana Walden and Alan Bergman, along with ESPN chairman Jimmy Pitaro, reads.

'It goes without saying that the reason so many consumers value our programming above others is because we invest in the best talent, creators and content in the world, and we cannot allow anyone to undercut our ability to do so.'

YouTube TV subscribers will be locked out of the Eagles-Packers Monday Night Football game

Customers were also unable to watch the huge game between Alabama and LSU on Saturday

They also say Disney has offered YouTube TV 'fair terms that are in line with the more than 500 other distributors that have renewed their agreements since last summer, including the top distributors, who are far larger than YouTube TV.'

They also accuse YouTube TV of demanding 'preferential terms that are below market' and making 'few concessions' in negotiations.

In response, a spokesperson for YouTube TV said: 'Once again, Disney is resorting to their old tactics like leaking documents to the press, negotiating in public through their paid talent and misrepresenting the facts including from the deals they've offered and taking credit for our product proposals.

'Our team stands ready to make a fair agreement in line with their deals with other distributors and we encourage Disney to come to the table and do what's best for our mutual customers.'

YouTubeTV, the popular chord-cutting streaming service owned by Google, pulled every channel owned by Disney off their platform on October 31.

YouTube is the largest internet TV provider in the US with 10 million subscribers. Hulu, owned by Disney, is next, with about half that many subscribers.

NFL fans have already missed the Arizona Cardinals' win over the Dallas Cowboys, as well as the Top 10 game college game between BYU and Texas Tech and the LSU and Alabama primetime clash on Saturday.

On Monday, Super Bowl champions Philadelphia play Green Bay on ESPN in arguably the best Monday Night Football game of the season.

However, YouTube TV subscribers will still have access to the NFL games on Sunday that air on Fox, CBS and NBC.
