NFL host Kay Adams has revealed she's in a 'good place' to settle down - and revealed what her ideal first date is.

Adams, who hosts the popular 'Up & Adams' show for FanDuel TV, stopped by 'Bussin with the Boys' when the topic of her love life came up.

And while Adams, 39, insisted she was just 'having a good time right now', she opened up on why she feels more ready for a relationship than in previous years.

'I think I haven't known what I've wanted super much. I think that I'm always in survival mode of like what's next, how am I gonna survive and advance, that's a life thing... I'm very happy with where I am, I'm settled,' she told hosts Taylor Lewan and Will Compton.

'I'm a little more calm, like I feel a little more able to be there for someone else. Like I feel like that's where I am. So yeah, dating's funny though, you know?'

Adams went on to explain how she was actually an inexperienced dater, as she has often quickly ended up in relationships after first dates.

Kay Adams said she is in a 'good place' to settle down - but doesn't necessarily want to at the moment

The popular NFL host said that her ideal first date is a 'cozy, romantic' dinner

'I am a relationship girl and by the time that you are so persistent that I am on a first date with you, we're already in love, you're my boyfriend and we're just consummating - not physically - this works.'

However, she did provide some insight into her ideal first date, saying that she prefers a 'cozy, romantic dinner' - planned and paid for entirely by the man.

Adams also admitted that she is sometimes 'duped' onto dates by men under the 'guise' of work opportunities.

Furthermore, when asked by Lewan and Compton what hobbies her ideal partner would have, she answered reading music, saying the person she previously thought she'd marry was a big proponent of both.

The host has kept her romantic life under wraps as she's become a household name in sports media.

She shot to fame on NFL Network as a host on 'Good Morning Football', spending the years 2016-22 on the program.

However, she eventually chose to start her own show, which has proved to be a roaring success and has featured some of the biggest names in sports as interviewees.
