Jayden Daniels suffered a horrific arm injury during the Washington Commanders' game against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday night.
Daniels was rushing towards the end zone in an attempt to score a touchdown when he was tackled by Seahawks linebacker Drake Thomas.
As Thomas brought Daniels to the ground, the Commanders quarterback put his left arm down to break his fall.
But something appeared to snap in the elbow region as he did so, causing a devastating injury to the second-year star. Fortunately for Daniels, it was not his throwing arm.
Medics rushed over to help Daniels and devastated Commanders teammates quickly gathered around and took a knee as he received treatment.
Daniels was put into a padded brace and managed to walk off the field before going immediately to the locker room for tests.

Furious Commanders fans took their frustration out on coach Dan Quinn, questioning why Daniels was still in the game when they were losing 38-7.
One asked: 'What was the point of Daniels being in the game?'
Another posted: 'I just said before that drive, why have Daniels in the game'.
'No reason Jayden Daniels should have still been playing. That's on Dan Quinn,' a third commented.
Talking about whether Daniels should have still been in, Cris Collinsworth said on NBC's broadcast: 'That's a fair question. I was thinking about it, too.
'You know him. You know he doesn't have that half speed. He's going to take off and run and do everything he could to score that touchdown.
'That's ultimately what got him hurt and nobody is feeling that more than Dan Quinn but yeah, it's fair. It's a tough situation because he means everything to this team.'
It proved to be the final straw of a disastrous night for the Commanders, who fell to 3-6 after a 38-14 loss.
