Los Angeles Chargers superstar Najee Harris was left screaming in agony after appearing to tear his Achilles in a non-contact injury against the Broncos Sunday.
The 27-year-old former Pro Bowler only joined the team in the offseason but is now likely to be told his season is over after the heartbreaking injury.
A slow-motion clip of the moment broadcast on CBS appeared to show Harris' Achilles pop as he pushed off his left leg.
The running back immediately went to ground and trainers rushed to his aid as he ripped his helmet off.
He was then carted off and quickly ruled out of the rest of the game.
It is just the latest nightmare incident for Harris, who seriously injured his eye in the offseason after a 4th of July 'fireworks mishap'.

Classic Achilles rupture sign on the left side. Najee Harris is the latest culprit of the negative step.
Going to send a memo to every player to stop doing this.

The mysterious accident meant that he didn't practice with his new team in LA until mid-August, over a month after the injury occurred in the early hours of July 5.
For the first 10 days of camp, Harris had been limited to conditioning work - walking laps around the Chargers' practice field wearing a helmet and weighted vest.
In the Chargers' season opener against the Chiefs in Brazil, he only played 18% of snaps, improving that to 34% in Week 2 against the Raiders.
But his progress has now been abruptly halted by the sickening injury, which is likely to mean he won't play until the second half of 2026 at the earliest.
