TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian National Police's Criminal Investigation Department (Bareskrim) arrested Kohod village head Arsin on Monday night, February 24, 2025. This decision was announced by the Director of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Indonesian National Police, Brigadier General Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro, after interrogating four suspects for hours.
He stated that the four witnesses were probed from around 12:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. local time. "After the interrogation, we and our unit conducted an internal meeting and decided to detain the four suspects,” said Djuhandhani at the Bareskrim Polri on Monday night.
The four suspects were detained at the Bareskrim Polri detention center. The police will soon complete the case files and work with public prosecutors for follow-up.
Previously, the Bareskrim director had identified four suspects for falsifying documents for the sea fence in Tangerang.
"The investigators agreed to name four suspects," said Djuhandhani at the Indonesian National Police Headquarters on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. The suspects include Kohod village head Arsin bin Asip, Kohod village secretary Ujang Karta, and two agents of powers of attorney identified by the initials SP and CE.
The suspects together created and used fake documents such as land certificate documents, physical possession statements, and other documents from December 2023 to November 2024.

These documents, according to Djuhandhani, were used by the suspects to apply for the issuance of 263 Building Rights Certificates to the Tangerang Regency Land Office. The forgery of all these documents was carried out by the suspects from December 2023 to November 2024.
