
TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A Special Crime Investigation Directorate of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police arrived at the Deputy Attorney General's Office for Special Crimes at 11.31 AM. From a white Toyota Hiace with police number 10013-VII, the Corruption Eradication Task Force of the Indonesian National Police (Kortastipidkor Polri) along with the Jakarta Metropolitan Police team, were seen unloading evidence one by one from the vehicle.
Based on Tempo's observation, one of the items being unloaded was a large black suitcase, three medium-sized containers labeled as evidence, two medium-sized frames, and a one-meter-long frame.
The evidence relates to three corruption cases involving former prosecutor Febrie Adriansyah. The three cases are extortion of witnesses and suspects in the corruption case of PT Asuransi Sosial Angkatan Bersenjata (PT Asabri), settlement of debts of PT Krakatau Steel's subsidiary, and irregularities in the procurement of coal supply for the power plant owned by PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara for the period 2018-2026. The police have named Febrie and Don Ritto as suspects.
"We have conducted an inquiry and named two suspects, namely Mr. DR and Mr. FA," said the Head of Kortastipidkor Polri Inspector General Totok Suharyanto in a press conference at the Attorney General's Office in Jakarta, Saturday, July 11, 2026.
The case has been transferred to the Deputy Attorney General's Office for Special Crimes as of Saturday, July 11, 2026. Since then, the police have gradually transferred the previously confiscated evidence.
Febrie is charged with Article 12 letter e, Article 12 B of the Corruption Law, and Article 3, Article 4 of the Money Laundering Law pursuant to Article 607 Paragraph 1 letter a and letter b of the Criminal Code, or KUHP. Meanwhile, Don Ritto is suspected of violating Article 4 and/or Article 5 of Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning Money Laundering or Article 607 Paragraph 1 letter b and/or c jo Article 20 of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code.
The police and prosecutors have not yet explained their roles in this corruption case. However, Don Ritto has been detained at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police detention center, while Febrie has not been arrested.
