British pop icon Adele was seen out in Austin, Texas for the United States Grand Prix in a rare public appearance for the singer who has been relatively undercover since ending her Las Vegas residency.

Adele, aged 37, was seen in the pit lane with the Mercedes AMG Formula One team as she toured the garage.

She even took a picture alongside Mercedes' two drivers, George Russell and Kimi Antonelli.

The 'Someone Like You' singer has kept a low profile in the months after she performed her final show of a two-year residency at Caesar's Palace.

That final show came in November of 2024 and she's managed to stay mostly under-the-radar since after the marathon of performances.

Last August, the multi-Grammy Award winner said that she was going to be taking a break from the music industry.

The singer (seen with fiancee Rich Paul) has stayed mostly out of the spotlight since announcing her plans to take a break from music after her lengthy Las Vegas residency

Speaking to the audience at a concert she put on in Munich, she said, 'I will not see you for an incredibly long time.

'I just need a rest, I have spent the last seven years building a new life for myself, and I want to live it now.'

The singer, born Adele Adkins, is engaged to Rich Paul - a sports agent and CEO who represents NBA legend LeBron James.

Adele's appearance didn't prove to be the good luck charm the Mercedes team may have hoped for.

Russell finished the race in P6 after qualifying in P4 to begin the race. Meanwhile, Antonelli dropped out of the points into P13 after qualifying in P7.

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen won his fourth US Grand Prix of his career, with all of those victories coming in the last five seasons.
