A resounding defeat to the Green Bay Packers might not be the only concern for Washington Commanders fans.
On Thursday Night Football, the Commanders fell to Green Bay 27-18, scoring 15 of their 18 points in the fourth quarter.
It wasn't a strong performance for Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels - who completed 24 passes for just 200 yards and two touchdowns.
He also wasn't particularly mobile - getting sacked four times and only rushing for 17 total yards.
Speaking the day after the game, DC radio host Grant Paulsen revealed that there may be some worry for the health of the second-year quarterback.
'You saw Jaden Daniels get folded up at one point last night, and he got up limping pretty good. I'd heard that he got looked at this morning,' Paulsen said.
Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels reportedly had a scan done on his knee on Friday
Daniels wasn't as mobile as he used to and was seen limping after a hard hit against Green Bay
'You have a bunch of treatment for guys and MRIs for different players. Half dozen guys were getting evaluated today, and he was one of those players who was getting imaging done on his knee, it sounds like.'
Paulsen continued: 'He was limping, and until we hear more, I'm just curious, but I did hear that he had to be evaluated on that knee and that it's something they were looking into right after the game.'
It's unclear what injury Daniels may be facing and the Commanders have not listed the quarterback on their injury report.
But losing Daniels - even for a few weeks - could be a hammer blow to the Commanders' hopes to get back to the NFC Championship game.
If he goes down, Washington will look to backup quarterback Marcus Mariota. Third-string quarterback Josh Johnson is listed as injured, meaning that the Commanders would likely promote Sam Hartman from the practice squad.
