Ralf Rangnick reportedly requires further treatment in hospital after contracting a germ after multiple surgeries.
The Austria manager went under the knife last week in Murnau, Bavaria to try and fix his injured right ankle.
But he has not yet been let go and his stay will be extended due to needing further treatment by an ankle specialist, according to Bild.
