Scotland boss Steve Clarke has urged the Tartan Army to roar Scotland to glory against Denmark at Hampden.
Clarke’s side breathed a huge sigh of relief on Saturday night after a chaotic 3-2 defeat against Greece went unpunished thanks to Belarus snatching a point in Copenhagen.
Scotland were booed off in their last outing at the national stadium last month, a laboured 2-1 win over the Belarusians.
But in a high-stakes shootout against Denmark, Clarke hopes to harness the power of Hampden on what could be an historic night for the national team.
‘We are going to need backing from the first minute of Hampden, we need positive backing,’ said the Scotland boss.
‘One of my favourite sayings for the players is play with the anticipation of success and not the fear of failure. I’m going to ask the Hampden crowd to do that on Tuesday night.

The fans didn't know whether to laugh or cry at times in Greece on Saturday, but Clarke says their continued support will be vital on Tuesday
Ryan Christie calls for the fans to make themselves heard after scoring Scotland's second goal against the Greeks
‘We will need them from the first minute to be with us and in the difficult moments in the game to be especially with us because that’s what this group of players deserve.
‘If we get that I’m pretty sure we can do something special. I think we can inspire each other. The team can inspire the fans and the fans can inspire the team.
‘It is obviously a very good Denmark side. They didn’t manage to win their game on Saturday night, so they’ll be up for it. It should be another good spectacle for everybody, and hopefully the right result this time.’
