Cristiano Ronaldo has warned Manchester United that Ruben Amorim can't produce 'miracles' at a club that 'has no structure' in his latest withering assessment of his former club.
Sitting down with Piers Morgan on his latest Piers Morgan Uncensored show, Ronaldo took another shot at United, claiming he is 'sad' to see the state of a club he believes is one of the most 'important of the century'.
Asked about the job Amorim, who has United two points off second place after 10 games of this season, is doing, Ronaldo believes his fellow Portuguese has his hands tied.
'He is doing his best,' Ronaldo said.
'What are you going to do? Miracles. Miracles is impossible. We say in Portugal, 'Miracles is only in Fatima'... And he's not gonna do miracles.
'They have good players but they don't have, some of them, in mind what Manchester United is.'

Ronaldo is not convinced United are on a 'good path' right now under the Portuguese coach
There has been a great deal of upheavel at Manchester United since Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos took control of day to day football operations at the club.
Jason Wilcox works as director of football and reccruitment has been overhauled, focusing on younger players such as Leny Yoro and Benjamin Sesko.
But Ronaldo remains unconvinced that he is seeing Manchester United get back on track after years in the wilderness.
'For me, I'm sad because of the club, that's one of the most important clubs in the world, and a club that I still have in my heart because of the obvious reasons,' he continued.
'You have to follow with the intelligent people, smart people, to create a base for the future as Manchester United have [done] so many years ago.
'Nicky Butt, Gary [Neville], Roy Keane, [David] Beckham, they became big players but they had youth. So Manchester United right now, they don't have a structure.
'I hope that changes in the future, present/future, because the potential of the club, it's amazing. It's one of the most important clubs of the century.'
Ronaldo has been a vocal critic of Manchester United for some time now, last year telling former team-mate Rio Ferdinand on his podcast that the club needs to 'rebuild everything' to get back on top.

While Ronaldo clashed with Ralf Rangnick and Erik ten Hag during his second spell at the club, he insists that the club remains 'in his heart', even amid feelings of betrayal under those coaches.
Asked by Morgan: 'Do you still look out for United results. And does it hurt you to see how badly they do?'
'Of course. Of course,' Ronaldo replied.
'Because I was there so many years. I win the Champions League there, I win the golden ball, I win like 12, 13, 14 titles there.
'So I repeat, Manchester United is still in my heart. I love that club.
'But we have all to be honest and look for ourselves and say, "Listen, they are not in a good path". So, they need to change and it's not only about the coach and players, in my opinion.'
