Elliot Daly has returned to England's squad, raising the possibility he will make his first appearance of the season following a broken arm against New Zealand on Saturday.

Daly's latest injury blow came on the summer's Lions tour of Australia and meant he was ruled out of the successful Test series win over the Wallabies.

He hasn't played at all in the 2025/26 campaign to date for his club Saracens.

But he is still under consideration to come straight back in from the cold and start England's acid autumn test with the All Blacks.

Daly will add to head coach Steve Borthwick's full-back resources with the national side now on a nine-match winning streak after victories over Australia and Fiji this month.

Marcus Smith wore the No 15 shirt against Fiji with Freddie Steward injured.

But Steward is back fit for New Zealand.

Wings Tom Roebuck – who also missed Fiji – and Immanuel Feyi-Waboso are both in the squad to face the southern hemisphere giants too.

Feyi-Waboso was left battered and bruised by the 38-18 victory over the Fijians.

'Hopefully, Elliot will be available for selection this week. He's got a meeting with a specialist over the weekend,' Borthwick said.
