Footage has revealed the shocking moment Indianapolis Colts star Charvarius Ward collided with his own teammate during warmups and suffered a concussion.
Just hours before their game against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, the Colts revealed that QB Anthony Richardson and CB Ward had suffered warmup injuries.
While Richardson's injury was described by NFL insiders as a bizarre incident involving stretching bands in warmups, Ward's injury was inflicted by his own team.
Footage revealed by Fox showed the moment Ward suffered the injury, after running a route in practice and colliding with one of his own tight ends in brutal fashion.
The clip showed Ward taking the huge hit before briefly lying motionless on the floor, while players and coaching staff quickly went to check on him.
The footage then cut to show Ward sitting up but clearly in some form of discomfort, before eventually being helped off the field and being ruled out the game.

Fans were quick to react on social media and voice their frustrations with the Colts tight end who collided with Ward.
Taking to X, one wrote: 'The tight end had all the time in the world to avoid him wtf'.
'How tf does this even happen bro,' another said.
Meanwhile, another wrote: 'Which Tight End? Need to know who to hate now'
'wtf was the TE trying to do???,' another bluntly wrote.
Along with Card, fans were outraged after discovering that Richardson had suffered a bizarre eye injury during warmups for the game.
Thankfully for the Colts, the injury to Richardson isn't going to derail their plans.
Richardson was selected by the Colts as the fourth overall pick in the 2023 draft but has struggled to live up to expectation and lost his starting role to Jones in summer.
And Jones hasn't any reason for his coaches to question that. He's lead the Colts to a 4-1 start to the season, completing 107 of his 150 attempted passes for 1290 yards and throwing six touchdowns.

The injury to Richardson is just the latest in a long list of quarterback injuries during the early stages of the NFL season - with the Cardinals also affected.
On Saturday afternoon, Arizona confirmed that QB Kyler Murray will not play in Indianapolis due to a foot problem and veteran Jacob Brissett will start in his place.
The Cardinals (2-3) promoted undrafted quarterback Kedon Slovis to the active roster, but it wasn't until Saturday evening that reports surfaced about Murray's expected absence against the 4-1 Colts.
Officially listed as 'questionable,' Murray missed practice Wednesday and Thursday due to the foot injury before taking part on a limited basis on Friday.
Murray hadn't missed a game since 2023.
