Sports pundit Skip Bayless has had enough of Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers, aged 41, had a rough performance over the weekend against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday Night Football.

The quarterback completed 16-of-31 passes for only 161 yards alongside one touchdown and two interceptions in a 25-10 loss.

After that poor day at the office, Bayless appeared on his Underdog Sports show 'The Arena: Gridiron' and declared that Rodgers was 'washed up'.

'All I know for sure is, and I'm going to dig in on this once again, Aaron Rodgers is washed up. Lebron likes to call it washed. I'll keep the up on it. Washed up,' Bayless  told co-hosts Aqib Talib, Jay Gruden, Gerald McCoy, and Cody Kessler.

'That guy I saw last night was shell of self,' Bayless added before highlighting some poor stats from the Super Bowl champion.

"All I know for sure is, Aaron Rodgers is washed up. That guy I saw last night was a shell of himself. That guy completed 51% of his passes, his worst in 5 years."@RealSkipBayless rips Rodgers and the Steelers chances with him. pic.twitter.com/rbyudTHaK7

Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers had a game to forget Sunday, throwing two picks in a loss

On Monday, sports pundit Skip Bayless declared the soon-to-retire Rodgers was 'washed up'

'He is over the hill washed up to the point that he's lost his courage in the pocket. You can't win in this league [without courage]... Aaron will duck and cover at the slightest bit of pressure wherever it is on the safety.

'He's just like, "Oh my God", and he drops the ball like, Oh, I... There were three throws last night where he is doing fall-away throws, where he just wheeling and ducking because he's 41.

'He's on borrowed time, and he knows it, and he just doesn't have the stomach for taking the hits that you have to take at that position to win football games from the pocket.

'Obviously, he can't move the way he used to move. He used to be able to hurt you with his legs in his heyday. He can still fling it and rip it to your point. I give you that.

'But, man, you're looking for, hide your eyes on a lot of wild high throws because they're going to go wild high because he's ducking cover in the pocket. So unless the Steelers force six turnovers, that's the recipe.'

After beginning the season 4-1, the Steelers have lost three of their last four games to drop to 5-4 for the campaign.

The one win in that span was against the Indianapolis Colts - who gave up six turnovers in the one-score defeat.

Rodgers has already revealed his plans to retire at the end of the season.
