Lando Norris' brutal honesty after an eventful Las Vegas Grand Prix left Sky Sports forced to apologise for his words, although he, Max Verstappen and George Russell saw the funny side of it.
After qualifying on pole position, Norris was overtaken by Verstappen and Russell at the start and would eventually finish second behind Verstappen - before later being disqualified for technical infringements.
And during the post-race interview with the podium finishers, Norris left Verstappen and third-place Russell in stitches when he admitted: 'I f****d it up' in relation to his initial second-place finish.

The comment off the back of ex-F1 driver and Sky Sports pundit David Coulthard expanding on an earlier joke from Norris when he said he 'let Verstappen win'.

Norris started on pole position at the Las Vegas Grand Prix but was overtaken in the first corner
'I let Max have a win. I let him go, let him have a nice race! No, I just braked too late – it was my F-up,' Norris had joked.
'It was not my best performance out there but when the guy wins by 20 seconds it's because he has just done a better job and they're a bit quicker.
'Fun race out there, difficult as always, but good fun.'
As a result of that comment, Coulthard then said when interviewing Verstappen, Norris and Russell: 'Nice joke from Lando saying he gave Max the win…'
That prompted Norris' funny retort: 'I said that I f****d it up.'
Coulthard, remaining professional amid the backdrop of laughter, replied: 'Well you can't say that! Sorry ladies and gentleman' as he tried to change the subject.
It was soon no laughing matter for Norris though as he and McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri were disqualified.
As detailed by Daily Mail Sport, Norris and Piastri were slung out for having a 'rearmost skid less than required thickness'.
Verstappen is all smiles with his team as he celebrates his victory in Las Vegas on Saturday
It means Verstappen narrows his deficit to Norris to 24 points with 58 available in the two final rounds of the season, in Qatar next weekend, where there will also be a sprint race, and Abu Dhabi the one after.
The stewards said: 'Car 4 (Norris's, as well as car 81, Piastri's) is disqualified from the race classification. All other drivers move up in the classification.'
