The Tennessee Titans have parted ways with a second member of the Callahan family in as many days.
After firing head coach Brian Callahan on Monday - following a dreadful start to the NFL season - Tennessee has now let go his father, offensive line coach Bill Callahan.
The decision was announced by Titans interim coach Mike McCoy, who also confirmed that every other member of staff would remain in place.
Bill Callahan is a veteran NFL and college coach who has been a regular on the sidelines for nearly five decades.
He has worked with a host of teams including the Philadelphia Eagles, the New York Jets, the Dallas Cowboys, the Cleveland Browns and the then-Oakland Raiders, who he led to Super Bowl XXXVII.
The 69-year-old joined the Titans as offensive line coach in 2024 - not long after his son was hired by Tennessee.

But despite selecting quarterback Cam Ward with the first overall pick of the NFL draft, the Titans are 1-5 and sit bottom of the AFC South.
Only the Browns (82) have scored fewer points than the Titans (83) over the first six weeks of the NFL season.
Tennessee gave Brian Callahan the first head coaching job of his career when they hired him last January. But the 41-year-old went 4-19 before being fired on Monday.
'These decisions are never easy, and they become more difficult when they involve people of great character,' a statement from the organization read.
'We are grateful for Brian's investment in the Titans and Tennessee community during his tenure as head coach. We thank him and his family for being exemplary ambassadors of the Tennessee Titans.'
The team, which is expected to move into a new $2.1billion domed stadium in 2027, said that it was committed to building a 'sustainable, winning football program.'
