England have turned to an Aussie to ensure their Test side is well fed during the grueling five-Test Ashes series awaiting them.
The first Test in Perth commences on November 21, with the final day of the fifth Test scheduled for January 8.
It means over two whole months in Australia for the English squad, who will need to be properly nourished to get through the workload ahead.
To get the job done, they have employed the services of Australian chef 'Rob', who is making a staggering amount of meals a day to keep the likes of Ben Stokes and Joe Root fueled up.
Rob was born in England and still has his English accent, but calls Australia home, with the Lions social media team cheekily posting 'trusting an Aussie with the cooking'.
Rob shared the meals that he makes every day for the players.
Trusting an Aussie with the cooking 😅
Ever wondered what England players eat on an Ashes tour? 🤔

Aussie chef 'Rob' has been tasked with the job of feeding the English cricket team during The Ashes
Rob prepares up to 1400 meals for the hungry cricket players, support staff and officials
'We have a pasta or carb, today we had gnocchi,' he said.
'We had potatoes, pumpkin, we do a chicken dish, which today was a Portuguese chicken. And also do a fish dish.'
Making things even more challenging for Rob, he has to create his fish recipe on the fly.
'I've got a guy who delivers fish to me. He heads to the market in the morning, he delivers my fish to me around 9am.
'So generally I don't know what I'm getting until he arrives.
'I'm going through four banana bread a day.
'Yoghurts, I'm using Chobani yoghurts, I'm probably doing 70 or 80 of them, minimum.
'Fruit, bananas, I probably go through 60 or 70 a day.'
It means big days for the Aussie chef, but he enjoys seeing the satisfied faces of the cricketers
'I'm out of the house by 6am and then I'm usually here before 7am,' he said.
'Normally, I'm going to say 12 hours is a normal day.
'The total in both squads is 69 and then I feed the umpires, the scorers, the roomies, so I'm probably up to 80 a day,' he said.
'1300, 1400 meals [in total]. I brought 1200 plates when I first arrived, I've got 125 left.'
'Seeing someone like Joe Root, like, you know, these guys are the rockstars of cricket,' he said.
'So you've got to be in awe of them.
'I don't get a lot of time unfortunately to watch cricket, I don't get a lot of time to sit down.'
