Pereira: 'Everything can change'

By Lewis Browning

Vitor Pereira, Wolves manager:

A good result brings confidence, brings smiles, good energy, and the last few days, we’ve worked well, preparing the game for tomorrow.
We feel that to show the level of the players that we have in this moment, we need just something like this result, a win, and everything can change.

Frank: 'We have a clear idea of what we want to do'

By Lewis Browning

Thomas Frank, Tottenham manager:

I am earning over over the time of the season because having two days between games have probably done 100 times in my career. Three games, similar, but I haven't done it 300 times, but do you need to have done it 300 times? 100 is probably enough to have your routines in terms of how you prepare prepare the team.
So, I think that's the most important thing. We have a very good coaching group, very good staff, where we have a clear idea and process how we want to do it, constantly discuss the small details.
So, for example, we had some that played a lot of minutes on Wednesday night.
They are the second day, we still want to get a little bit out of them, although some that didn't play, we need to get a little bit more out, so how do we get that physical low bang on? Plus, we want to get all the details in.

'Spurs insist club not for sale'

With more rumours swirling around Tottenham about takeover bids being assembled there’s a message in the programme for the Wolves game from new non-executive chairman Peter Charrington reinforcing the message that the ruling Lewis family are not trying to sell the club self-made billionaire Joe bought in 2001 and that his daughter Vivienne and son Charles are ambitious to bring more success to N17 after last season’s Europa League triumph.
'It’s something the board and I want you all to experience on many more occasions,' said Charrington. 'I have had the pleasure of knowing the Lewis family for many years and can speak to how passionate Viv, Charlie and the family all are about seeing this club reach its full potential.'

Wolves searching for first point

By Lewis Browning

The other end of the table really does not make for good reading if you are a Wolves fan. Or West Ham, or Aston Villa, to be fair...

But Wolves are winless and pointless and have been absolutely awful so far this season.

Will that change today? It's a tough ask. But now is a good a time to start as any, I guess.

Spurs looking to go second

By Lewis Browning

It's been a good start to the season for Thomas Frank and Spurs, especially after last year's calamity.

Three wins, one draw, one loss. If they can pick up another win today, they will go second. Not bad at all.

And you would make them favourites. Especially with the run Wolves are on...

Wolves team news: Strand Larsen STARTS

By Lewis Browning

As the post says... one change for Wolves today, with Gomes in for Bellegarde.

That means Sa, Agbadou and Wolfe are all on the bench. Strand Larsen starts up front - what responsibility he carries on his shoulders now.

Breaking:TOTTENHAM TEAM NEWS: Simons STARTS

By Lewis Browning

Simons is back in tonight for Spurs. It does look like he's playing off the left again though.
